I am looking into getting a roof rack for my 2015 T4R. Can anybody give any good thought on a good brand for a Toyota T4R.

Congrats on the new T4R. There are many quality roof racks out there but it would help to know what your intentions are with it. Are you looking for add on bike, kayak, ski carriers? Are you looking for load carrying racks like a Gobi or Baja, a basket like Yakima?

i guess it's for traveling and instead of packing in the back, well when i had my Jeep i bought a cloth top storage and those things are rough to pack up and i just thought if maybe i got a roof rack the cloth with the luggage in it would fit a lot better.

I went with a Gobi Rack Stealth and couldn't be happier with it. Several other good options for racks out there. I liked the look of the Gobi Rack and am very pleased with it so far.

I went with yakima crossbars. I can add almost anything to them and keep overall cost down.

I went with the Gobi stealth rack and Ladder combo. Love it, no complaints.

I went with the Gobi also. Used it for a 2 week trip to AZ & CO this spring and it worked great. I got a couple of surplus pelican cases and they work well, I was able to pack a 4P tent, ground cloth, queen air mattress and two sleeping bags in one case. Everything stayed dry through several rain storms.

I would not recommend the Gobi stealth box, way too small to carry anything significant and expensive (so is the rack but IMHO it is worth it).

I've got Yakima on mine. Haven't even used them yet, but they're very solid.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money but still wanted something hat could hold a lot so I built my own. Works great for me.
