Rooftop Light Bar Mounts

Just got my mounts in and was wondering what hardware everyone used to mount the bracket to the pillar? I am thinking about using nut-certs so it can be removed easily. Any pictures and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

They use #4 1" self tapping screws. You can use 1 1/8" if you'd like to as well. I need to pick up a bag and start shipping them with hardware, all apologies.
 
How are the 4th gen mounts coming? Any progress and can you only make them for 40 inch bars or could you do a 50 or a 50 curved?

4th gen mounts for a 50" straight bar are done and being cut and powder coated this week.

I have some people wanting 4th gen mounts for a 41.5" bar, so those are next (same design, just for a 41.5" instead), then we are going to make them for a 50" curved bar.

The mounts are 150?
 
Do you have any solutions for windshield glare. I am looking for something that will go under the lenght of the light bar and keep the glare off the windshield. It would be cool if it could flip up to protect the bar when not in use too.

Not currently, but we have a design in mind... it's on the drawing board.
 
Just so I can get it through my little pea brain, what are the options and pricing for the 4th gen mounts? Definitely interested in picking some up after the holidays and want to get my ducks in a row.

I'm in need of one for my 42" radius lightbar. Its going on my 3rd gen. How long does it take to get the mounts? I'm in Dan Diego

We have no plans to make mounts for a 50" for a 3rd gen, the bar is just too big for the truck.

I just got our new 41.5" curved bars in. Talking to the owner/designer on lead time to make mounts. I will update as I know a timeframe.

Those mounts you found are pretty sweet btw!
 
I also have these mounts. Very nice quality. I however replaced the original screws with stainless steel Philips head screws. This way the door closes very easily and the screw heads don't stick out to far and push the seal out also. I prefer these screws over the original. No biggie though, very cheap alternative. Also I could not mount my mounts as high as some of these pictures look to be. My light sits right on the window. But inside the car I can barley, barley ! See my light. So it doesn't block any view at all. Also there's about 3/8 to 1/4 gap between light and window top seal.





My light bar was 42" front mount to mount. But fit snug between the mounts. Not to tight and not to lose. I love the look and quality of these mounts. And like I said, I replaced the mounting self tappers with little bigger Philips head screws. Which the head is more round and sticks out less. Trust me, better.

And who makes this product? I have a local fab guy who will make me a set for $100 but there look nice.
