Rough ride on 01 SR5

I have an 01 SR5 4x4 that rides a lot rougher than I think it should. Looking for some solutions.

History: Bought used with 95k miles for my wife to drive, replaced a 99 Tocoma with a rusted frame. Six months ago I installed a Daystar 1" lift in front and 1.5" lift in back with Bilstein 4600 series shocks. The old shocks were original. Probably lifted the truck 2" overall.

Replaced the drivers side needle bearing in the front diff with the bushing from East Coast Gears. Got rid of the drone/vibration. Had to have the front end aligned. Has 265 75R 16 Hercules TerraTrac tires.
This truck is a daily driver and never sees off road. At first the ride did not seem that bad. As of late the ride is almost bone jarring. I do run about 40psi in the tires as it drives better but I did before.

I went back 20 pages here and really didn't find anything that would help me on this. Seems like everyone is running Bilstein 5100s. Don't have problem changing shocks but I would rather not remove the lift unless I have to.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I don't know if 5100s will solve your rough ride, I have them with Tundra TRD springs and I like the ride. I wouldn't call it rough, but I wouldn't call it squishy either. The good news is if you do go to the 5100 you don't have to lose your lift. They are adjustable, and depending on the springs you choose it will maintain, lift, or slightly lower what you have now. Your 2" of lift will probably settle down to the 1-1.5" range once everything is broken in.

Ride quality is a common issue here. I just think some people are pickier than others

Side note, I have Tundra 5100s. The Tacoma ones are supposed to be valved differently and provide a softer ride I guess, but have two less adjustment points (3 vs 5).

P or LT rated tires? It makes a difference.
