Rub with Spidertrax and 265/70/17 Terra Grapplers?

Hi all,

First and foremost thank you everyone here for being so friendly and knowledgeable - I really dig the culture here. Hoping to start my own build thread soon!

I have 265/70/17 Terra Grapplers with a DS 2.5/1.5, and now am looking to install some spidertrax spacers. However, since I have very little time to devote to the install I want to see if I can get away with not having to trim the fender if there's any rubbing. Does anyone have any experience with this setup? Is there any clean way of clearing the fender outside of a dremel or heat gun?

shouldnt have to trim, worst case maybe move it forward slightly. You may clear just fine. All depends on how much your springs are sagging and whatnot.

I was running daystar spacer kit, spidertrax spacers and 265/70/17 revo 2 and I was rubbing. Had to move the fender liner forward and trim the bumper a bit. At full turn and on uneven pavement the wheels would rub on the mud flaps.
Even now, with toytec lift I rub on the mud flaps - they gotta go when I install 285s.

BTW, I used a utility knife to trim the bumper....it cuts thou the bumper like butter:)
 
I don't understand why you guys are rubbing? I have 265-70-17 on mine w no lift. Completely stock and mine has never rubbed at all? Goodyear mt/r Kevlar...

I had the 265/70/17 on with no daystar and spidertrax for a brief time, and it didn't rub....:)
