Rubber spacers

has anyone tried these out:

Theses thing actually go in the middle of your coil which is an interesting concept the ones in the first link are actually cut so that you can twist it into your stock coils.

May be placed at the bottom of the spring by a licensed mechanic only. Do it yourself by snaking the spacer into the coil.

Because it appeases the want it now section of the brain until an actual lift can be purchased. I wouldn't call it ghetto, I would call it doing what you can afford. Previous poster suggested that shopping at autozone was bad, well if that poster would kindly lend us his American Express Black card, I am sure we could get a lift that would appease the nature of his comment.:moon:

OP, if you are going to use a drop in as such, my advice to you is avoid the twist in ones as they can dislodge easily in off road use. The rubber and neoprene ones you posted aren't as bad, but be sure to place them as low or high in the coils as you can. Also, take note that they are run in pairs as well as opposite of each other.
