G gaber6 New member Oct 6, 2018 #1 My valve cover gasket kit came with extra hard rubber washers/ grommets for all the bolts. I'm guessing that I wouldn't use them when they weren't there to begin with. Did any 4Runner have them other than the 3 longer bolts in the center?

N nuron New member Oct 6, 2018 #2 All the slim valve cover bolts should have them. I think there was like 6 or 8 bolts total?
G gaber6 New member Oct 7, 2018 #4 On my Audi, the washers were on the inside of the valve cover in a recessed area, but that's not the case for these. I suppose I can try them.

G gaber6 New member Oct 10, 2018 #7 I found where the extra rubber washers go. They go on the lower intake to heads. I didn't notice them when I was taking it all apart.
