Running board lights question

Hi there I have a 2005 4runner Sport Edition and was wondering if the running board lights were a factory item with all 4runners or just certain ones? I don't seem to have them or I am not looking in the right area?

I have n '05 Limited that had them, not sure of other models.

The limiteds had them, the rest have a wiring harness for them. I've always wanted to swap limited lighted running boards but never could find them local for a decent price

My 05 sport edition did not have lighted running boards, just regular ones.

There are two types of factory running boards/side steps.

Tubular side steps- all Sport Edition models (no illumination)

Running boards - all SR5 and Limited models (illuminated on Limited only, like the ones here)

I am looking to add limited running boards on my 04 Sport. I found a pair but am trying to confirm whether all models have the harness. Is this something you've confirmed on your SR5? TIA
