Does any one know if there is a place to buy a replacement body area for this area? Its rear passenger side wheel area. My plan is to cut it out, weld new and fix it. Can anyone guide me into the right direction because I'm ready to sell this ****ing truck!

Just get the dog leg. When I did this I didn’t buy from them so I have no experience from them. Just made my own panel.

Wait is this the front fender or rear? Nevermind read the title again..... I be drinkin fer Easter

Another edit. I would just cut it out and treat it/paint it then leave it be since it’s pretty small.

That bottom portion is from the running board end caps rubbing against it. My 4Runner from Washington has a little bit of rust there. Unless you have major rust on the frame, I don't see a reason to sell it.

Truck hasn't had running boards ever since I bought it. But I can see how that would happen. Does "alfaparts' sell the inner part of the dog leg?

Here is my truck

Its clean for the most part. Frame is mint. Me saying," Im ready to sell it." Is me being mad lol!

Funny thing is, I brought my truck to a body shop to get this same exact area fixed. And apparently all they did is BONDO over the rust. *******s!

I mean it’s rust but not rust. Definitely not as bad yours. I seen your thread before. Great job on the fix ! How has it been holding up ? Reason why I want to go OEM replacement is because it’s easier to fix it. The alfaparts website sells the dog leg I need. Which is perfect. Cut a section out. Weld new in. Bondo, and bedliner. I’m curious about the inner part of the body. Looks like two metals are pancaked together. How hard is it to fix this body area ? What to except and cutting this section out. Any tips ??

What do you mean by the inner part of the body? The fender "lip" is the body fender and the wheel well spot welded together. Your first picture (in the original post) is showing what I'm referring to.

Where's the rust on the second picture? The piece that's bent/coming out?

By inner I mean in the first pic. It’s not two metals bent and pancaked together ? Because looks like it’s seperating as if two metals were glued.
