Rust... rust and more of the same.. Need help in ID'ING some rusted Lines..

All,
I will be changing out my rusted out Exhaust. So today i crawled underneath just to see what is exactly leaking. I came across some rusted lines. and i thought i'd try to ID them.
Any idea on what these lines USED to be? for all i know they're what's causing the exhaust noise.

Has anyone ever bought an Magna flow system off of Ebay before? I had to cancel my order(with MagnaFlow) because i was told my system was in stock and now i am being told that it might be a month or so maybe longer. Summit, Jegs are getting theirs from MF- So there's that. I see a few of them on EB. One seller even says that they're an authorized seller.. but that means nothing.

The lines that run along the Frame well are the rear heater lines that goto a heater under your passenger seat.

No other lines are on the exhaust..

Hello and thanks for the reply.
I was told what they were on a FB group that i am on. I had no idea..
I think when i have the belt and and WP done i might have those lines changed also. I forgot That i had to resize photos. so i couldn't post them.

The lines themselves are not that expensive so i'll have them switched out.

BTW what runs through them? coolant? water?

I use these. They are stainless steel but a grade that slighty oxidizes. On the rig for 2 years now and still there. Walkers will boy make 4 years in the rust belt.

If it is a set of 2 lines that run from the passenger side engine compartment to the front seat area that is what they are in the USA/ canadian Market that is.

Slighty thicker then a number 2 pencil yes they rot away except the 01 and 02 as they changed them non rusting lines.

All the other lines run down the drivers side. Gas brakes and in the 01 and 02 have 2 emmision lines up the drivers side as well.

Yes, that is what they are and that is exactly where they run.
Very nice of them to switch to "non rotting lines" I don't think they did that just for me. when i have them changed i'll mention that i would like the lines from the newer model.

The newer lines I think are no longer able to be bought. You probably have to buy a set off of a junk yard or someone parting one out. Sadly. I don't think the metal cover is available anymore as well. Check though as I can be wrong.

After i found out what these lines were I called my dealer and he did quote me a price for my 97.. it was less than$150.. at the time i didn't know about the "newer" lines.
