Rust spots on 2010 4Runner

Greetings,

Purchased a white, 2010 4Runner in Sept. 2010 and have been diligent in keeping her clean. Noticed today little rust spots covering the entire body - as anybody had this issue?

I think you have rail dust. Google it and you'll find many discussions on it. I've gotten the spots off my 4runner with a clay bar or bug/tar remover.

Clay bar should do the trick. Just make sure you keep the surface will lubricated with the detailer spray. For stubborn contaminants rub over it longer with the clay bar, but don't apply more pressure.
