Rust?!?!

yeah thats right, i want to get rid of all the rust so it doesnt become more of a problem

OK fair enough. I looked at your "Baby" and it does look nice. You noted that it has a new rear bumper and assume that it was necessary.
I wouldn't be overly concerned though, structurally anyways. I went out and looked at mine and there is very minimal rust around the front lip and, like yours, isn't noticeable unless looked for.
It is 15 years old and should last another 15 - 50 years. It will still "Bump" like it's supposed to. Additionally I would be more concerned with rust on almost any other part of the truck / frame first.
Aesthetically it's all up to you and how much your willing to fork out to have it removed, striped down proper, dipped and reinstalled. Or take all of that money and invest in a nice aftermarkek bumper.
Yours appears to be completely stock; any plans?

My new (and cheap, apparently) front bumper chrome piece had rust pinholes after only a few months. A little chrome polish cleans it up, and a little WD-40 helps keep it rust-free.
yeah the rear had some holes in it from rust so it was necessary, as for the front bumper since it is structurally sound i will try chrome polish. also i have been trying to treat the rust on the underside of my truck. i took a wire brush and naval jel then repainted with rustoleum.
im in the process now of saving up for my 3in lift and tires(hopefully it will be done by thanksgiving) i have a long list of mods i want to do this just being my first one
