Rustoleum Bumper and Trim Paint

Wow this stuff is the stuff :sing:

Saw it, bought it, and brought it home.. 5 bucks or something. Went ahead and tried a little area just in front of the rear tire on the trim to see what it would do. I am very happy! Compare the rear trim not painted.

Ok maybe old news but anyway....Off with all the trim and bumper I guess for getting a fresh coat of this stuff :wave:

Is this for plastic parts only? Will it work on metal? Looks fantastic tho!

That turned out pretty nice, good way to stave off the ich to build a bumper until the time is right lol.

Yea works on metal too. I am going to buy a bumper Monday at the junk yard that looks just like mine but was chrome and painted by previous owner. Perfect condition with bumper ends and wouldn't of known it was chrome except for one small scratch revealed that.

So I am going to repaint that...But works on metal for sure. If I could figure out how to get grill off with out breaking the thirty year old clips I would repaint that too

How much is the bumper? You can order a oem replacement for lije 100 bucks off amazon or jcwhitney already painted.

What for an 1985? Rear bumper with end pads? I have the step bumper with hitch. I was told it came off of pickup but I am not sure about that because I see a lot of early 4runners with the step bumpers.


Here is the bumper I am getting for 75.00.
