Picked up this beast a few weeks ago as a daily driver/commuter to save on gas and relieve my 02 Sport of some miles.

99 Base Model, 2.7 4-Cylinder, 2WD, Automatic:

Added a spacer lift to the stock suspension (3" front, 1.5" rear) and 16x8 +0 American Racing AR172 with 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers:

Also added some full clear tail lamps, OEM Zenki Hilux Surf clear corner lamps, and removed the running boards:

Where did you get your clear tail lights from? Are you running red bulbs in there for breaking and night lights?

Another beauty! I need a buddy that can source me Japanese parts. Looks great can't wait to see how this ends up.

Im not trying to be a smartass because your truck looks fantastic, However, dont the big tires hurt MPG for a commuter or have you not noticed a difference? I have a 1999 6cyl and am not getting the mileage i had hoped for when buying the truck.

Yep, of course it hurts the mpg.

Both your truck looks killer man! Do you have any more pics of the body lift install? and how difficult was it to do? I'm looking into doing a 3" body lift on mine so I can run 35's :D

This guy can afford 2 trucks that are modified. Don't think he's too worried about the gas bill. More like preserving the weekend warrior, for when it's needed for action.

Sorry, I have no pictures of the install. I followed the writeup that Toytec provides on their website. It is actually fairly easy.
