sacramento dealers!

Anybody have any experience with any dealers as far as maintenance local, up to 50miles? I'm pretty sure I have a problem with my AC, and I just hit 40k so I figure I might as well get some of the required maint listed. I have REALLY, and I mean REALLY bad luck with dealers. I had a honda, and I convinced my parents the best place to get it serviced was the dealership Steve Hopkins Honda, so we took it there for some random maintenance, I got it back with the AC making weird noises and failing a few weeks later to where I needed 500 dollars in repairs. I took it in for the 150k service, which she was running perfect, and on the list of service, it said "check ball joints", the DAY AFTER I got it back, the ball joints broke. Another 2grand in repairs. It seemed everytime I took it in there, something came out broken. I am really...really nervous about taking my 4runner to get fixed, I would like if some people could point me in the direction of a good dealer.

There's Thompson's Toyota in Placerville. Bought my 4runner there and it's been back once for an oil change/20K service and no complaints.

Back when there was a Thompson's Jeep, I bought my jeep there and had them service it during the warranty period and never had a problem with them.

Ive had all my work done at Folsom Toyota and they have been good to me. They have fixed stuff for me that was even after the warranty was up. No service place is perfect...but all in all I have been very happy with them.

I bought the car there too since I went to all the other dealers in town and they were all a bunch of sale hungry *******s. Folsom was much more mellow and actually knew about the cars they were selling. I havent had any experience at the service at any others in town.

I know a great shop in Auburn if you are willing to drive there. They are called The Master Technicians and they only work on Hondas and Toyotas (Acura and Lexus too). It is the cleanest shop and the people are very friendly. I have convinced all of my friends to bring their vehicles there. They only use Toyota and Honda OEM parts and they are eaiser to deal with than any dealership I have been too. Check them out. (530) 889-YOTA.
