What's happening T4R community! Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum. I'm a proud new owner of a 1998 4Runner SR5 4WD with 81,000 miles. I sold my 2007 Heep Wrangler Rubicon 2Door for her and it was worth every penny. $10,000 is what I paid for the Runner and I sold the Heep for 20K. All I have to say is let the modding begin! Thinking about the Sonoran 1.2 or Toytec Ultimate with 891's and 5125's rear. I'll probably go with 285-75-16's on the stock wheels, she'll be my daily driver so I don't want to go too extreme. Oh and no stock e-locker (damn!). Any advice is definitely welcome! Anyone in the So-Cal area I look forward to meeting up someday for some trails!

Welcome to the forum,i would like to commend you on getting rid of that Heep of a junk what a waste of money,how i know i work for a Jeep dealer and IMO the money that people pay to get this things.your on the right track with this 4runner that extra money will come in handy for your mods and it will last you a long time.:driving:

Thanks. I know my Heep spent a few trips to the dealer for recalls overall it was fun but I knew it wouldn't last.I owned a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 4-Door SR5 Supercharged with Donahoe coilovers and Deavers in the rear. I loved it but always wanted a solid front axle so I sold it and bought the Heep. I've always loved the 3Rd Gen 4-Runners and I think I found a gem. Only thing wrong with it is it needs new rear axle seals.
