Ah yeah. That was freaking fun. Total sand storm. Saw a couple other 5th gens out there. Didn’t see any of them besides me on the trails though... my pretty sliver painted bumper covers are all scraped and dented in. Put a few dents in all my factory skids. Pretty big one in the fuel tank skid. But no real damage, and the body is looking great. Sliders took some abuse. There are some crazy narrow trails out there, and some serious drop offs. But the 5th gen made it through. All in all the 4Runner handled business. Even got through a hill climb one of the jeeps needed some pulling assistants with. For comparison I’m totally stock with sliders, the smallest tire in my group was 33” and lifted.
