Sanity check: Instrument and dash panel lighting (night driving)

Question to the 5th gen group, particularly 2015 if it matters.

I noticed last night I have no instrument lighting for ease of finding the Mirror Adjustment buttons/switch and the instrument lighting dimmer.
I have been searching the manual for info and can't find sh*t. I attached the drawing of the switches from the manual/ They are items 1 and 2.

Please, if not a bother, take a look at yours and confirm whether there is backlighting to not.

I just noticed this the other day as well. No backlighting on my 2017 TRD PRO

Do we know of any mods that are out there to make these switches have backlighting? Obviously, it would need to come with an actual light, but a lot of LEDs are cheap these days.

Maybe a new AOB switch, I have one that has two lights I am gonna install for my driving lights look like factory push button and snaps right in.

The sunroof is another matter, I was wondering why they are not lit then latter I reach and hit it right off in the dark but I wish it was lit.

If it's too dark to see the switches, it's too dark to use the mirrors.

Interior lighting is one of the most lame and quirky aspects on my 18 TRD Off-road. How bout no lights on the wiper stalk Stalk? Ridiculous.

You can get rid of that using the display controls on the steering wheel. But I agree, it’s annoying and not useful.

I bet someone on this forum could find a way to put backlight LEDs in the places we would wan t such as; sunroof, rear window, mirror adjust, dimmer, pocket shelves on the door, door handles on the inside..heck door handles on the outside!
