Well that is an interesting title, how do you save up to be a Noobie?
Simple 4runner Guru's, I need help as to what to look for in a 3rd generation?
My epic journey goes like this. I decided that I wanted a change in my life and I went out and trained to get my class one license. As I live in Cariboo country here in Canada, I will need a 4x4 so I can get to where I will be working in all kinds of weather. Budget is small at this time after paying for my training, so a fixer upper that runs is all I need.
So my pursuit of a 4runner starts here. As in what should I Look for when I look at one? I know the obvious as to what to look for but not things like, what years have better parts support? Do some years have a particular problem, like head gaskets or electrical? Is a 22re a good engine? I thought so but people tell me to always get a 6 cylinder.
That is it in a nutshell. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!
