SC_4Runner's TRD Pro Build Thread

Updates coming soon. ARB compressor and awning scheduled to be delivered Monday. Ordered some Fourtreks mounts for awning and hi-jack, pins for Maxtrax too. The small stuff adds up quick.
 
[MENTION=116607]CharlestonFisher[/MENTION] - Looks great man. I'm moving back to Charleston next month and can't wait to be back in the Lowcountry. I'd like to check out that rack sometime. Are the crossbars adjustable? Id like to be able to mount a Thule cargo carrier when I need to but don't want to be stuck with fixed bars.

The crossbars are removable and they can be placed anywhere on the rack. The standard package comes with two. I have three and I may get a fourth for a RTT in the future.

Love that roof rack brother! I'm currently living in Greenville SC until October 2nd. Then it's off to Boise Idaho! Any chance your going to be in my area please pm me. Would love to check out the rack.

hmm like the mount been toying with the idea of selling my Powertank and picking up an ARB.I like not having to fab anything and bandi makes some good stuff price is pretty steep though.

Quick question, that mount, can you add a 1 gallon tank under the compressor? That compressor IMO really needs, at min 1 gallon tank, especially if you are running at any elevation.

I have my twin mounted vertically, mostly out of being too lazy to fab a nice bracket. Which I think I may be stuck doing anyway by the looks of it.

I worked with Leroy to make it happen. Pretty sure he can duplicate it again. I highly recommend him!

Not to stomp too much on [MENTION=116607]CharlestonFisher[/MENTION] thread but yes! :D , almost exactly, This is me just over thinking + OCD, I would like to turn it 90 so that the filter face the fender, keep equal temps on each compression cylinder (I think the one closest to the motor has a higher chance for wear and be less efficient right of the bat whether it makes any real world difference dunno) and a modest bit of cooler draw air, ideally would like to draw air from the front. My only other concern with the cylinder is condensation and draining. This is the first time I have hard mounted a compressor to my truck. All of the old construction compressors I have worked with build up a bit of H2O in the tanks, I don't imagine this to be any different, particularly if you use it a lot.

Big week for the 4Runner. Ordered an OME suspension, some UCAs, and Nitto Trail Grappler 285s. Got 5 of them 'cause big things are in the works. [emoji109]

Viair make a 1 gallon tank that has 4 ports, the two end ports like the arb tank, then tow on the belly, one which you could use as a drain port....
