Scheduled Maintenance Spreadsheet

Hi, this is my first post to the group.

I've got a 15 year old 4Runner closing in on 200K.

I couldn't find a spreadsheet that showed recommended intervals, so I adapted one I found on the web.
Grayed out boxes show what is due, when.

I needed to do this because I just inherited it from my wife, and she bought it new. Though, she kept all receipts, it wasn't clear what was due and when things had been done.

It's interesting to see how love fades with age...

I used a combination of the Factory recommended intervals, Haynes, and some of the things I've seen on the boards here.

Feedback on any improvements would be appreciated.

It's an online template in excel, I searched "vehicle" and found it.

I don't think it would work for me or most DIY types. I don't work from a regular service interval and then do lots of things at once. After 16 years and 180k miles individual items are all spread out on their own little intervals. Stuff happens.

The way I do it is I get a nice day with some free time and I scan back quickly through the record I keep in a simple Word table and see what is due or overdue. Oil, air filter, plugs, TB cleaning, tire rotation, plugs, trans and diff fluids, brake fluid, coolant. Takes about thirty seconds to check how long since I've done those. Brake shoes and pads I do by looking at them each tire rotation. If something is coming up, I buy the parts and save that for the next nice day with time. Things like O2 sensors and timing belts are in my head, I don't even need to look at the record.

Just discovered your SpreadSheet...Thanks....I plan on using it to track / prove Maintenance history on my new 2020 4Runner ( LifeTime PowerTrain Warranty ) Interesting to see that you were able to get the oil changed for $10.97 back in 1997...
