Scion T1808 radio iPhone6/AUX?

So I bought a 2001 with a T1808 radio already in it. My question is, is there a way to have an AUX out of the back or an iPhone lightning cable to come out of the back of it? I've seen some people hook up iPhone 4 connector with an ebay adaptor but not one that comes out to lightning.

Has anyone done this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I don't really want to get a new headunit if I do not have to.

To me you should ditch the 1808 and buy a T1819 on eBay or carparts.com. Then buy the 5 dollar USB cable. Unless you want to do Bluetooth then buy the Bluetooth microphone. The two radios should be the same size, and if I remember correctly same adapter plugs.

There is a long thread in the section that has head units. Called something like "The Ultamate scion head unit thread"

I installed the T1819 in both 97 4Runners and liked it so much I made one fit my 2002 S Series Saturn.

Edit, you may need the adapter harness. I'm not sure if your 1808 uses the older plugs like our factory radio or if it needed the adapter plugs. If it's the latter than the 1819 should be plug and play.

If you read through that audio thread I looks like a iPod kit was available. But it will be the old connector. The 1819 uses USB instead of a apple connector.
