He's got 2.8M subscribers. So, he's slightly higher on the nobody scale than you and me.
There is some truth to that, though Scotty is retirement age.
I guess if your definition of youth is a guy in his late 60s or early 70s, you have a valid point.

I'm getting seasick watching him flail his hands about and his head bobbing this way and that.
LOL, he gets a lot more caffeinated than that at times, an acquired taste. :bounce:

Seriously? You must be over 80 to not know who Scotty Kilmer is and barely know what Youtube is.
Like him or not; he is a force on the YT stage and in the car world. At 65 he's still putting out 2-3 videos a day when younger people a third his age (or younger) are struggling with 2 or 3 a week.
It's a brave new world friend. Please try to catch up.

He truly is an acquired taste. I've noticed people either like him or can't stand watching him. He has his own style for sure. I don't always agree with him but I find him knowledgeable and willing to share his hard-fought for knowledge which is commendable.
Plus he's still learning and willing to admit when he's wrong. He doesn't trip over his own ego which is something I respect.

Are you kidding! He loves that car. Hardly drives it; but loves it. It's old school just like him but not carbed old school. He also prefers sedans over SUV and other tall vehicles.
Him and his wife usually take out the Lexus 300 ES sedan when they go out together and they rent cars when they fly to different places.
I'm thinking he makes a bundle with this YouTube thing so he can afford any car he wants but he likes the older stuff he can work on without the dealership's $50k diagnostic computer systems. He is quite fond of his $5k handheld OBDII reader though.
He's a big Toyota fan too. Honda and Toyota but mainly Toyota.

I kind of wonder if he hasnt got early parkinsons disease tbh, he moves kind of like someone trying to cover/compensate it with those exaggerated gross motor movements.

Scotty Kilmer is a quack. His video titles are click bait because after I watch them, they are nothing like what his video titles describe.

He has a little trick. On Saturday mornings he does a live streaming podcast kind of thing then he breaks that down into segments to make stand alone videos. It's actually quite genius in a way.
I do think he should get away from the click bait titles though. He doesn't need to do that IMHO.
He just released another one talking about how the newer Toyota's use a cheaper made rotor that frequently warps in the first couple years of ownership. He's right about that. Toyota needs to get their quality control under control. They built up a good reputation over many decades; screwing it up now over a few dollars would be really stupid on their part.
How is he in person? Is he just as animated or a bit more subtle with his gesturing? He actually had a segment in a tv show years ago so this YT thing isn't exactly new frontier for him.
