SCS Stealth 6 GLOSS Gunmetal Wheels Anyone?

I inquired to Vin (of SCS) awhile back about a custom set of his Stealth 6 wheels in gloss gunmetal instead of the standard matte finish. He told me that he could make it happen if I got at least 10 committed buyers, so I figured I'd at least run it up the flagpole here at the .org

I'm seeking the 6-lug, 17x8.5" design only, but multiple design specs may be possible.
Standard pricing - no additional charge for the gloss finish.
~4 month waiting period.

Can you clarify if this is for a group buy discount on the wheels, or simply an effort to get 10 buyers for a custom color at regular price, or maybe both a custom color at a group buy price??

I don't have any pictures because SCS has (to my knowledge) never offered a gloss finish on these wheels in the past. However, there are plenty of pics of the matte gunmetal Stealth 6s on this forum. I expect that a high gloss will bring some more depth to the metallic gunmetal finish, but that could just be my imagination running wild.

Vin did not mention a group discount per se, only that he would have the custom wheels made if there was enough interest. Now that you mention it though, I will ask him about a discount.

Dang I would have liked my set in gloss instead of matte, I never really thought of that as an option. Too late now
