Seat belt buckle housing plastic Disassembly

Had marinade spill over the seat, seat belt & carpet below this past weekend. After much cleaning and a couple days of making sure everything was clean, the smell persisted. Lo and behold, sticky marinade inside the seat buckle plastic housing. Time to sticky this post mods! jk.

For anyone else that needs a visual of how to disassemble the plastic housing, below is a photo. Insert your favorite plastic trim removal tool between the gaps on the side (middle) of the two plastic buckle housing and slide the plastic trim removal tool downward towards bottom of the plastic housing. The bottom should pop out. Repeat for other side and slide the piece down & out.
