Seat Cover replacement new ebay seller

I just ordered one of these off eBay from wicked upholstery. I'm assuming these are held on with hog rings, am I right?

Just want to make sure I have what I need to install it.

I just did my front drivers seat last night. Bought the cover off eBay from Bruce out of Utah. Great quality and instructions were extremely helpful. Took me about 4 hours to do. Hog ring pliers are essential!!!!!!!!! $150 was well worth it.

To get the old leather top to better match the new bottom, consider cleaning the top extremely well. Use a good leather cleaner, or even plain alcohol to get the dirt and grime out of those cracks. It'll make it 'lighter' and take the 'old leather grimy shine' out. It will also 'hide' most of the hairline cracks. The only reason you can see them is because there is dirt and grime in them.
Spray it with the cleaner, let it sit for a minute, then have at it with a nylon brush.

Anymore updates on how these are holding up? I was working with a company a while back that makes these for the 3rd gen and was trying to put together a group buy with them.

I think if you went with the cover, like wicked, it would be super easy to add heated seats since you don't need to rip everything apart. I mean, why not make it worth your time and money to add some heated seats. You can get nice kits for about $49 that heat up super fast. Just another thought. Heated seats came standard on 2001-2002 Limited models.

What size hog rings are used on the seats? Any recommendations for a good brand of hog ring pliers?
