Seat Covers?

Anyone have any recommendations for seat covers? I do a lot of outdoor activities and would rather not have sweat/dirt/etc ingrained in my cloth seats.

WET OKOLEs!

Ditto on the WEs from Hawaii - they are expensive, but you will not be disappointed. I put this product up there with the weathertech floor liners - not cheap, but a product you certainly get your $$ worth out of.

I've had Wet Okole's for three years and they are the best covers I've ever had. My driver seat lower is starting to show a little wear along the bead by the driver door from entry and exit, but the seat surfaces have held up very well. Expensive but worth it.

I would wear out original cover, then put on seat covers or have recovered.

Also why I like black or white leather - it will always be available to recover.

Check out Coverking Seat Covers. They are made to order so you can customize them quite a bit and there are lots of materials to choose from.

It doesnt appear that coverking sells covers for the rear seats? Am I missing that somewhere?

I ll also throw in my recommendation on the Wet Okoles...I had a set in my previous FJ and loved them. Considering getting them for the 4runner also.

One more STRONG recommendation for Wet Okole's. Not cheap. Not quick. Not necessarily as easy to install as others may report. All that said, I asked the same question here and found the advice to be 100% on the mark.

I went straight black without any of the "tubes" or logos. Be advised that any two-tone will likely not give you black headrest covers. These were for my Son's 4Runner, who works as a tradesman. After driving my own T4R, when I drive his I actually prefer the look/feel of the WE covers vs. my factory seats. You just can't go wrong with that investment.

I have used the wet okole and had them installed at wet okole. They fit nice are comfortable. The wear ok. Do fade quickly, wear fairly quickly too getting in and out of the vehicle.

I now have the pleather and wont be getting seat covers but if I do I would be lookong more closley at I beleive Kings not the wet okole seat covers. i am not sure they are kings but the seat covers are 1000d codura and will wear much better than wet suit material. Just my experience. Good luck.

If you weigh over 200#, getting in and out will wear the crap out of Okoles.

They also fade super fast in the sun.

A black set turned to some purply, greyish mess in my FJC.

Several options out there from faux leather to wet okole

Which cover were you looking at? What year is your 4Runner?

Look at Marathon seat covers, my neighbor has had them on his 2001 4Runner with 300K miles, they still work flawlessly. That's what I'm getting for the rear seats. Good luck. Cheers!

I had the Wet OK's in my Jeep Wrangler and they were sweat-inducing, unbreathable and HOT.

They did fit well and I didn't notice mine ever turning purplish gray...but they did fade a little. This was a 90% time top off vehicle though.
