SeattleMike's cargo project

Jesus that's depressing. Now I feel bad about arguing with you. I was right but I still feel bad.

Seriously though, good luck and I'm sorry about your dog.

Wow. I've been wondering where you've been and now I know. Sad news for sure- but you will come out on top. Good luck, buddy- you are a cornerstone of the 5th Gen site!
Get better-
Jeff

stumbled onto this thread from the 4th generation threads that I frequently lurk...my best wishes to you for a speedy and full recovery, and to your family. Hope to see you back on the trails again.

Wow Mike....I'm blown away, you guys will be in my prayers.

I also ask all fellow members, religious or not, to send good thoughts, healing request, and especially prayers, to SeattleMike and his wife to help them through a difficult time.

You hang in there Mike, stay strong, we'll talk soon, and we'll be pulling for you here!

Mike,

Thinking about you and your family. Thanks for your contributions on here - I think we can all say that we appreciate the thought, creativity, and practicality you bring to the table.

Mike,
I can truly empathize with you as I've had several family members go thru this. I could see the excitement in your posts as you built on your truck, the camping setup you had, and I know your disappointed. Just know that in times like this, it's the people we surround ourselves with and our faith in God that allows us to handle even the most daunting situations. I will have your name introduced into our prayer group and I sincerely hope for a quick and speedy recovery for you. I've grown rather fond of the various "quips" I've seen you post and exchange with others. Your humor and wit is refreshing, and I expect to see more of it once your recovery is completed.

God Bless you and your family,
Ken

I too will keep you and your family and friends in my prayers. Prayer can change a lot, so just keep your head up and stay strong, have faith, and hope for the best and may God bless you in a speedy recovery.

Mike - you, your wife and the family will be in my prayers!

I ask that you do 2 things...DO NOT GIVE UP AND DO NOT GIVE IN!

I have never met you, SeattleMike. But this news touches me deeply. Perhaps it is because we, along with many others on this forum, share similar interests and passions. We have shared stories of success and failure, like friends would. Perhaps it is the life altering events, such as yours, which can strike at random. It makes me stop and reflect upon my own world. I urge you to not give up so easily. On a personal aside, my father has had brain surgery three times in 15 years to remove tumors. He just got an "All clear" from an MRI as a follow up. So dont loose hope, the body is an amazing machine, more resilient than we think. Please keep on posting, news of your progression will be encouraged or supported I'm sure. Perhaps a new thread? SeattleMike's New Project? I'm sorry if this post seems a little scattered, its hard to do on a phone while your working. I'm not a religious man, but my best wishes go out to you and your family.
Seth

SeattleMike,

I just read your last post.

:jaw drop:

My thoughts are with you and your family, and I know first hand how tough a journey you're about to embark on. Stay with it, the fight is worth fighting, and remember, you're fighting for more good times, so have them.

You're a big contributor to this forum, and you pioneered a big number of the 5th gen mods. Thank you, and I hope you'll do more mods when you feel like you need to.

Amazing the feelings that come up even tho Ive never met you. I see horrible things on a regular basis but when it hits someone you know it really brings it home. I dont techically "know" you but I consider you a friend and am sorry to hear about this. Try to stay positive, its incredible what the mind can do, and keep us posted on your Tx because we do truly care.
Matt
