Hey guys and gals.

I came across to this today.

1997 Toyota 4Runner V6 5speed straight body

How much would it be to replace the head gasket?

His asking price is $1100, is that an reasonable price for it?

Or should I offer him an price?

I emailed him about it but haven't heard back from him yet.

Depending on millage that is a pretty good deal. He says it still runs but the head gaskets leak. Mine have leaked for the past 40k+ miles, no problems. Unless it is a major leak you will be fine. If you do have to replace the head gaskets it is a pretty cheap fix.

Only thing that worries me is that he is selling it SO cheap for such a small problem which means there could be something else wrong that he is covering up.
