Service records

Hello guys. Brand new to forum. Just picked up an 03 4.7 SR5 with 155,000 miles. Tight and smooth like the day it was born. I cannot, however, find records indicating whether timing belt and water pump have been replaced. No sticker on engine and no record of service on Toyota site. Question I have is if I called the dealership that serviced it up until 99,000 miles (according to the Carfax) would they have records of the service in their computer and do think they would tell me what was done. Thanks

The dealership should keep records of all vehicles they work on. No harm in asking if they will provide you with information about what work they did on your vehicle.

If it was done by the dealer there should be a sticker in the engine compartment indicating it was changed.... Would also recommend that you sign up for My Toyota.....

Toyota Owners Official Web Site: Service Coupons, Owner's Manuals, Service Scheduling And More

You can see what service records have been logged as well as log any that you do yourself.....
