Shifter Thread Size?

I am thinking about changing out my shifter knob to possibly one of these pictured below and want to know if anyone has a thread size or can confirm that a TRD Shift Knob # PTR51-00110 will fit a 2014 T4R Premium AT shifter shaft.

The thread size is metric 8mm x 1.25.

Does the M8 x1.25 refer to the specs for the thread-on style shift knob? or is that the specs for the set screw style knob?

That is the shaft size for the shifter. The thread-on size.
