I am thinking about changing out my shifter knob to possibly one of these pictured below and want to know if anyone has a thread size or can confirm that a TRD Shift Knob # PTR51-00110 will fit a 2014 T4R Premium AT shifter shaft.
Detailed Description:
Black with Red TRD logo
Enhances interior appearance and presence
Fits M8 x 1.25 metric shift levers
Direct replacement for the factory shift knob (2011-2014 Tacoma)
Easy to install; features direct fit screw threads to ensure a tight and precise fit
Maintains TRD's high quality standards for performance and strength
Notes:
Engineer:
Black with Red TRD Logo, FOR AUTOMATIC ONLY!

Best Regards,

Best Regards,

I found a shifter thread here http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/65632-gear-shift-knob-change-2.html and the size is nine pages.

The thread size is metric 8mm x 1.25.
