I have been looking everywhere and there is not a consesus on the forums.
I recently broke the top stem on my Bilstein 5150 and am looking for replacement shocks. Bad news, My part numbers are illegible on both shocks naturally. I have a toytec ultimate lift, I contacted toytec, and they only have the "buy these new ones from me answer" Im looking for a part number, or the vehicle type we need to be hunting for as I want to experiment with a new shock. Bilstein stem breaks off from general use = Im buying a different shock this time around on principle. I would like a tokico for a sportier feel.
I have 891 springs in the rear and prefer a stiff ride.
So will a rear shock from a 91-99 LC bolt right up? I can find the shock lengths im after but the connection points on the shock have me concerned I could order the wrong one. ANY HELP is appreciated. Perhaps I can gather this info and make a list worthy of a sticky when done. Who knows.
