Shock Recommendation '15 Trail

Hello Gang,

I am looking for thoughts on some brands of shocks for my 15 Trail. It's not a ground pounder, just want something better than stock. On my list are pro comp, rancho, bilstiens, fox, etc. Also a good site/place to purchase from.

Bilstein or Fox. Bilstein 5100s all around or you can upgrade to the bigger 6112 front struts and run either 5100 or 5160 rears (have an external reservoir). For the money I don't think there is a better shock than the 5100. I have Fox 2.0s front and rear and really enjoy them, however, they have less height adjustability in the front. I wanted Fox just because of my positive experiences and they are aluminum bodies. Better heat dissipation and rust proofing for up here in the Northeast. They also come set at 2" in the front which is where I wanted to stay.

Rancho and Pro Comp are cheap shocks. They'll be fine, but there is way better out there for your money.

Do you have KDSS? If so, go with progressive dampening.
