I'm working with Magnum Tuning about a possible tweak to increase the speed governor and the rev limit. Problem is, my ECU is now buried behind a mess of wiring with a piggyback ECU in front of it. The owner is looking for a photo of the inside of the ECU, specifically how many quartz (labeled with a 16.0, 8.0 or 4.0 etc.) are on the board to overclock them.
Does anyone have a 1998 4Runner 4x4 ECU (part #'s 89661-3D37X, with X= 0, 1, 2 or 3) they could snap a photo of the ECU opened up? There was a change between the 97 and 99 ECU's and I'm not sure which kind I have.
Just wanted to know before I decide to dig into it my wiring and tear it all apart lol.
P.S. the ability to tune the vehicle is a must, it affects injector duty cycle and makes the engine run lean if not corrected.
