I would also appreciate any installation instructions posted too. Also any tips/precautions. Some places here want 200 and up to install it, I think I will give it a go. I have my sister's to install too so we'll save $400 at least. I know some members on here took 5 hrs to install it, so I think it'll take me all day for one

I installed the front bumper and sliders with my neighbor's help. We didn't take pictures or notes, but I can assure you that the instructions from SW have limitations that made the process rather painful. I suggest you read everything they provide several times and closely examine the pictures. It took me a while to figure it all out, but in the end I was successful and am happy with the look, build quality, and fitment. Note that the front bumper fits very snuggly and that you have to line it up just right to get it in place. Since it is very heavy, you should either have at least 2 people helping you for that part or you will use many expletives and possibly cause damage to your vehicle and/or the bumper. I found that a floor jack with a short segment of 4x4 wood post helped a great deal to hold it up while positioning it.

There were some pictures in this thread that showed the left over/removed stock pieces that I found useful when I installed mine. I thought the directions from SW were decent, just be sure to make sure that they sent you all the hardware for the install. I was missing most of the nuts and bolts.

I just got the call that mine is being delivered and am excited to have it installed. My question to the guys that installed it: I'd like to add a winch but don't want to spend the money now (just got a house). Is it really difficult to add a winch down the road? Or should I buy a cheaper winch now (I doubt I'm going to use it very much but would like to have it) to put it on during bumper install. Your thoughts?
If your paying to have it installed it will be cheaper to do all at same time. If your doing it yourself it's just a little extra work. I don't recommend getting a temp cheap winch as you will most likely never upgrade and you'll be stuck with it in that nice bumper and be disappointed if you need it. Get what you what. Also remember if on a budget the possible added cost in adding the weight of a winch and bumper may cause you to have to adjust/upgrade the front suspension and possible alignment added in. Where you might be able to add the bumper alone as is.

First install is a pain to get it all aligned correctly. Taking it off/on after that is much easier.

Looking forward to seeing the final result and learning more about the install. When did you order yours? I ask b/c that should give me a good idea of when to expect mine (ordered Feb 18th)

I ordered late December; and they told me it would get here late March. They are right on schedule! I basically forgot about it and then got a call from UPS Freight yesterday to schedule the delivery.
I got my bumper today and the instructions from SW aren't the best. I tried using a Haines manual in conjunction with SW's instructions, but it's still been pretty difficult to decipher; however, it should be noted, that this is the first time I'm attempting to install a bumper by myself. Some steps just require some logical deduction. Iat this point, the hardest part has been ensuring that I've taken all the necessary steps with the removal of my stock equipment. I called SW and asked them to email me a color version of the installation instructions...that helped some. If any of you guys would like me to mail you a colored version let me know.

I got all of the oem parts off and the new bumper brackets mounted. All I have left is to install the blinker lights, put the bumper on, wire the lights and add the splash guards. The one area that I ran into some issues was re-locating the a/c bracket. That took a liitke figuring out; plus I broke a bolt which turned into a huge hassle. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm no expert by any means, but hopefully the extraneous effort/time/thought I wasted on certain areas can be put to good use by someone else.

First round of recommendations:
Don't tighten the bracket bolts down, the ones that hold the mounting bracket to the t4r's body and the ones that connect to the bumper itself, until you have the bumper aligned, temporarily mounted and as tight with the body as possible. I'm also using red loc-tite on all of the major mounting/bracket bolts. I used blue loc-tite on everything else except the lights.
I hope that brief write up makes sense.
