Skateboard tape

If you prefers the angled slider rather than the steps, I came across a nice little mod online that you can do the your slide to make it a little bit "step" friendly using tape-on skateboard grit tape.

Any skateboard shop should have a large piece that is enough to cover the whole deck of a skateboard for a few dollars.

It wants to charge me shipping but I will just drive over and pick everything up.

I would put in the order, and pick "payment by phone" or something like that.... then when you call in, you can straighten everything out.
