For what it's worth, I ordered my Shrockworks front bumper a couple of days after the group buy closed and when I checked status yesterday (Nov 21), Mark said it would be another two to three weeks. I know that you group buy guys are getting priority, and that's cool. Point is, your bumpers should be ready in less then three weeks. Luckily for me, I live in the Houston area, so I do not have to pay or wait for shipping. I get the call and I go.

Mine sliders came in last week and I am very happy. They were packaged extremely well and the custom modifications I requested were done without issue. Right now they are sitting on the garage floor waiting for me to find the time to install them. :bluejump:

Got my sliders and I'm attempting to install the driver side now. I'm stuck on the rear mounting plate (side of frame).
Got the gas tank strap back in. Damn that was a pain the ass! I ended up using a spark-plug socket extension to push against the strap to push the weight up so I can get that sucker in. Took me like 30 freaking minutes :lol:
Anyways I read the instructions but it seems the mounting holes (again rear mounting plate against the side of frame) doesn't seem to screw into anything. If I am suppose to use a stick-nut, I'm not sure how to go about it there.
Anybody else run into this dilemma?

OK so definitely need to use the stick-nut but I don't see an access point to get behind the frame.

Looks like just the driver side to me. I unbolted the skid plate only on the driver side and you can access the gas tank strap. No need to unbolt the gas tank

Hopefully I can work on this tonight.
You'll need to pop off one of the plastic covers on the frame. Should be an access point close enough to get to the mounting point.

Thanks. Yeah I figured it out after looking at it for awhile lol. I had no clue those things were plastic tabs. It's installed. I need a 3/8 drill bit for the passenger rear bottom but that's it.
The quality of the sliders are awesome. Good job SW!
MIne are just bolted on. I had the truck supported on one wide with two jack stand under just the slider. No problem.
Also, sliders paid for themselves yesterday when a genius in a honda civic pulled out of a parking spot as I drove by. Slid right over the front corner of the civic and didn't even scratch the powder coat. Honda driver gets to buy a new front bumper cover etc. Yeah for parking lot protection.
On an install note: Do y'all leave the long tab for the stick nut sticking out of the access hole or did you break them off and put the plastic plug back in?

Good to hear they are doing their job!
I would recommend pushing the tab for the stick nuts just inside the frame. That way you can still get a hold of them if you decide to remove them.

I have finally installed my front and rear Shrockworks bumpers. Very happy with looks and function. Today was the shakedown run and everything went well with no problems.
Installation of the front bumper was straightforward most of the time, but the installation of the rear bumper was not a walk in the park due to the short instruction sheet and a 5 lb bag of nuts and bolts, it was overwhelming just trying to figure out where everything goes. The swing out tire mount with SAE studs was an adventure because the metric lug nuts do not fit. Finding a gas can that would fit the "Jerry Can" holder was a hide seek project.
