Sleeping/storage platform

Here is my sleeping/storage platform I built. After searching hi & low for something that would fit my needs this is what I came up with. My criteria was light weight, function, & does not permanently alter my rig. The whole setup weighs less than the rear seats I removed and bolts down to existing mounting points. I used a piano hinge to access the storage area where the seats once were.

That looks nice and functional for storage. Sturdy frame.
But, can you actually sleep on it? I don't know your height, but for me it'd be unsuitable to sleep on at all. Unless remove the passenger seat and extend the platform in it's place...
Otherwise, nicely made platform.

Was that mig or tig welding? You did a really nice job

I'm using the same totes with my storage system.

To op. You're making me want to redo my drawers in favor of this style. Thanks man. Looks great. Nice work

I'm 5'9" so it fits perfect.
