Sliders for 2015 5th gen 4WD Limited

I purchased my 2015 5th gen 4WD Limited about 1 1/2 weeks ago and I'm looking for sliders to put on it. All the sliders I look at seem to be made for the Trail Edition.

For those of you who have sliders on your Limited, what kind of sliders do you have? Did you have to do anything special to put them on?

Has anyone had any luck putt N-fab Wheel to Wheel Nerf-Steps on their Limited? I know there not slider but I really like them.

I ordered some MetalTech OPOR sliders in March and am still waiting on them, I believe only them and the rocky road? sliders will fit the Limited without trimming the rockers. If you're cool with cutting then others will fit as well.

I got the shrockworks sliders and the shrockworks trim kit to go under it to make the install look clean when you get rid of your LE molding. Love the look of it now.

You can choose from the very limited options for stock, you can cut your rocker, you can get the shrockworks rocker panel, or you can replace yours with the OE trail rocker. Cost increases as you go through that list...

I had the Rocky Road sliders and quickly changed to the OPOR + Shrockworks Trim and it works great! Looks great, and gives a bit more clearance.

I have Shrockworks on my Unlimited. I have been very happy. I beat the crap out of them in Moab and Colorado and they have held up like a champ.

Do your research. With the 2015's you may not need the trim panel. I don't for my sr5 where as previous year 2010-13 you needed it. I'm not sure about the limited trim if the trail rocker would be needed or not with the shrockworks slider.

The OPOR and Rocky Road sliders will fight right onto the Limited without any modifications. Works with XREAS and works with the rocker trim stock.

The Shrockworks will fit onto a Limited with stock XREAS suspension but you will have to either remove the rocker panel, trim the rockers, or buy a replacement rocker (OE Trails or Shrockworks trim).

Sounds like all other sliders will need XREAS to be completely removed along with addressing the rocker in most cases.

The N-fabs will fit with a spacer kit that one of the members fabs and sells.

Hope that helps. In my opinion, the rocker hangs too low in our Limited's and makes it look kind of bloated. Adding sliders on top of that only makes it worse. I would probably looking into replacing the rocker or cutting the rocker and getting the Shrockworks sliders to keep XREAS if you have no intention of changing suspension soon.

If you go trail trim while shrockworks is cheaper it is metal I believe and the OE while costing more is plastic, which means it won't rust. I had a ton of scratches from the wife so that sealed it for me not to get shrockworks rockers. Their sliders seem very solid.

For those curious I measured, now I did it with my lift so I'll leave out distance to ground but...

Replacing factory LE rocker with Trail and putting on shrockworks step sliders still gained me 1 1/4 inches, so I actually had the new rocker and slider and less distance to ground swapping out! Outside of money spent it's a WIN!
