Sloppy rear end?! Help

Been a while since I've been on here. Anyhow, after a nightmare of front end rebuilding and aligning I've decided to fix minor things that bug me. I did the tundra/LC coill lift and after the lift was in I noticed that my rear end feels (and sounds) like it shifts side to side slightly when going over bumps. She drives fine and no real issues to speak of. I did the Sonoran steel pan hard bar drop and everything is tight. Anyone else have this issue and maybe fixed it? What's the condition of all of the bushings in your control arms and panhard bar?

Have you looked underneath for rub marks?

Haha, coulda used better terms, nice catch! It may be time to change them, can't believe I missed the obvious first step. I'll start there.
 
The Sonoran setup in an extended bar, not a drop. An actual drop bracket (such as the toytec one) will solve your issue.

Both the drop bracket and the extended bars have pros and cons. Each impact stability and roll differently.

When you lift the rear end, the panhard bar is no longer horizontal. This means that there will be more noticeable side-side movement of the axle when going over bumps. This can make the vehicle feel unstable. Also even when just parked it pulls the axle more to the right side of the vehicle because it is the hypotenuse of this triangle.

-With the Extended bar, the axle is returned to the center of the truck. The downside is that the bar is still at an angle and you will still notice the increased side-side movement when going over bumps. The upside is that this option also leaves the roll center height relative to CG unchanged (compared to a lifted truck with stock panhard).

-With the drop bracket, the bar is returned to horizontal and re-centers the axle. With the bar horizontal again, the side-side movement over bumps is similar to how the truck was stock which is good for stability. The downside of the drop bracket is that it increases the relative distance between the CG and roll center. This means that the truck will feel like it wants to roll over more than it would with the extended bar.

Seeing as how most users will expect the truck to take lots of bumps but not necessarily a corner, I feel that the drop bracket is the best option.

My apologies, it is the toytech drop I have. The panhard bar is at a perfect angle perfectly.

Well panhard bars inherently move the axle side-side when suspension strokes. You can minimize this by confirming that the bar is horizontal when parked on a level surface.

Other than that, bushings as others have said.
 
Yeah my swaybar end links are rough, I need extended links but never got around to them as of yet. Anybody know a good place for some?

His links are pretty amazing & very solid. I bought the standard non disconnects front and rear set and there was a significant improvement in handling. Ive also noticed that i get a little more droop. Before the links i could set my 6ton jack stands on the rear frame rails and the tires would be off the ground about an inch. Now with the jacks fully extended placed on the rear frame, my back tires wont clear the ground so now i just place them under the axle.
