Below is my 1989 SR5 4Runner build. I got this to play with for 2 years before giving it to my son who is now 14. He wants nothing to do with it so this 51 year old will have a lot of fun going through mid-life with my redneck truck...

I will keep this going as i add stuff. I started with this.

And traded for this

I spent time getting it running correctly first. Added the side bars, removed the interior and rhino lined it. I removed the top and made aluminun side pannels. I want something that i can stick the hose it and clean it out.

Got these bad boy tires on yesterday but new BLACK rims will be put on this week as well as 4 new shocks.

I pick it up tonight. Got new black rims and shocks.

Got the rims on today! So far I love the look...

They had the wrong size shocks so they got delayed until next week.
