SMOR 2018 Who's going? I went last year. I know I saw a lot of 4runners there, any forum members? [MENTION=96665]tral[/MENTION] were you there (I think I remember seeing you post a picture or something.)

Last year it seemed like a bit of an unknown. There wasn't a lot of info out before the event, but it was great! I actually enjoyed it a lot more than Expo, and it was an easier trip.

I was there. was a great time with some great people. im 50/50 this year due to some personal stuff but it is in a new location and hopefully the weather is a little better than 100% rain.

Def worth the trip and the experience.

Hmmm. Never heard of this, but it looks interesting. I'm really busy the week before and after which makes it hard, but maybe I'll make a last minute decision to come up there.

It really was a blast last year and despite it being pretty lacking in info before the weekend, it was really well organized once we got there. Classes throughout the weekend, but there were some great trail rides that were mostly well lead. It was at a private ranch or something last year, but it's being held at a newer offroad park, Dark Holler Offroad, this year.

The Bold Overland guys that run it are all pretty inviting and friendly. The whole thing is a lot more relaxed than I found Expo East to be. More accessible, more friendly/approachable.

I wanted to go to Expo East, but after I saw all the fees and what not I decided I'd rather spend that money elsewhere. This sounds like a cool event though. Hopefully I can make it.

Man, I would have loved to go to this. I'm only 2.5 hours away but I've got company coming in next weekend. Bummer... Hoping to go to the expo in Asheville but we will see.
