Snow plowin'

Picked up a SnowSport residential plow. https://www.agricover.com/snowsport/

My driveway is close to 400' long so this has really been coming in handy the few times it snowed so far..... looking forward to getting some real snow!! The aux backup light is perfect for plowing in the dark.

I get my entire driveway done in about 15 minutes!

Beastly lookin' rig!

I wonder if installing a pair of dually's will increase light output for you when plowing backwards. How's the lighting output with the aux. light on roof?

This is what I have ATM -

My light bar is putting out around 5500 Lumen. Based on your pictures, its 2-3 times brighter and shoots it further than the dual pod setup.

That's pretty slick..where did you find the attachment for your rig? Where did you find the attachment? Curious minds want to know....we don't get a ton of snow in our area, so that would be pretty handy if it didn't cost too much!

Why not install a front mount hitch and plow where its easier to see? I installed a Curt for $150 shipped from amazon. Which plow is that?
thanks

I wish I could... I’ve exhausted my search... absolutely no one makes a front mounted receiver for a 2003 4Runner. Only a few guys have one for a 2003 and they’re all custom fab jobs.

If you find one I’ll give you a $200 finders fee ;)

I was in the same boat with my 2003 SR5. I gave the Curt one on Amazon a shot, free shipping/free returns. All I had to do was bend the 2 front tow rings down. and source 2 longer bolts. I believe I paid $143 shipped. I couldnt justify dropping $350+s/h for the CBI one. Its nice but way too$$$.

I'm assuming the tow rings on the rig and not the receiver?

Do you have any pictures?

picture of before and after the bumper put back on.

you going to make me dig up my curt front hitch mount photos?
wait? no i'm not going to do that, thats looking thru 2000 photos LOL.
i know i have pictures of it in my build thread. use the photobucker hot link fix plug in for chrome to get around the photo blocking!

i have a bud built hidden winch, curt front hitch mount and rci skids

Thanks bro!

So just to be clear... all I'll need to do is bend down the tow loops on the rig, get longer mounting bolts and it'll be a direct bolt on?

Bend what? I bend nothing it was a direct bolt on to the tow hooks

Just realized you're a different guy from the previous guy who said he bent down the loops.

So you think its safe bolting directly to the tow loops? Did you have to do any mods to the receiver or just direct bolt on to loops?

Lol, read my first post.

Follow the directions I posted lol
Install the chrome plug in.
View the pictures in the thread. I think it's like one of the first few posts. You'll see how it mounts. I didn't bend nothing. It's 17 degrees right now, so I'm not going to take photos for you lol.

Seriously it works.

I was following a different link of yours and wasn't finding much on the hitch there...Your other link provides more info. But I'm still not seeing a link for the hitch install... I see the front basket and winch install pictures. Oh, well... I'll figure it out.

Thanks!
