Well, I sold the 4runner last night to a dealer. :sad: Didn't get as much as I wanted but the sale was quick and painless and that's one less thing for me to do before my knee surgery (tomorrow) and then the holidays.

I'm not QUITE out of here yet - I will have a couple of 4th gen specific items to sell (seat covers, suspension and the Rola rack lowering kit.) I expect to list those for sale some time around the end of the year, most likely.

No, need something bigger and with a V8. We got a new trailer last year and while the 4runner pulled it OK I definitely felt like I could use a little more power. Plus now that we're camping more we carry a lot more "stuff" so I could use some extra room as well.

Current contenders are 04-06 Suburban and 05 - 07 Sequoia. Leaning towards the 'Burb simply because of the bigger size, bigger gas tank and not having to pay the "Toyota Tax."

It's possible. I can honestly say the 4runner was the best vehicle I ever owned but I generally don't get emotionally attached to vehicles, even motorcycles. However I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a 4runner to someone else.
