So I went to check out a supposed Trail with KDSS and possibly trade in my STI. I printed out a few adds and a few used car appraisal sheets and went to the stealerships. This is the same place that said the TRD/P came with KDSS.... so I was apprehensive.

Sticker on the car was 43k. The add was listed at 37,439 so they dropped the price down. I was then able to work them down to 36 with some options added and also work up my trade. With trade in and cash down I walked out paying 28ish + extra for the additional warranty and GAP insurance... which was pretty nice.


I am super stoked. Everyone should look up the dealership I got it from because apparently they think every trail comes with KDSS ^_______^

The thing is loaded with so many features... a lot of them bullshit but I am weeding out the good and the bad right now.

What is BS? Some of the Entune functions. The navigation is clunky. The menu navigation takes you in circles sometimes. I was told complete customization and I havent been impressed yet.

That and I got a slight vibration at 60mph and progressively gets worse through 80+. Car should be solid to 90 with factory tires and suspension. Car pulls to the right. Car feels like it is constantly driving with a dip in the front right end. Makes me think that there needs to be some corner balancing done.

I am completely knit picking. The entune is neat and having dedicated nav is awesome. I wish they were connected through google since it is the interface I am more used to and it is updated a lot more. Bing... cmon. Nobody uses ****ing Bing. I havent gotten that upset at voice recognition yet.



I am being extremely critical because it is the car I plan to own till I die. I want to find the things I want to change now so I can really enjoy the car through its full-time roadlife. Its mainly experimentation to figure out how everything works. Once I figure it out I will probably write a review with some indepth issues I have identified and then how I got around them.


My main thing is having the car pull right. Alignment off from factory... but the stealership is fixing the issue, putting on tint all around, and removing the lame pin stripes tomorrow. They are putting me in an upgraded Tundra for a loaner :D
 
stop calling it a car. baby kittens die every time you do! I would take it back fo rthe alignment and have them rebalnce your tires. ENTUNE sucks ass, NAV is crap I wish I would have kept my Garmin and save the money on this junk

Its alright. I say car because ive never owned a TRUCK before. I promise to use TRUCK as much as humanly possible....

You bought Gap insurance? You would owe less than what the vehicle is worth no reason to purchase Gap insurance. Enjoy the new ride it looks great.
