It has come time to sell my 4Runner that I have put a lot of time and money into to get it “just right”. I bought it from an older gentleman (original owner) almost 3 years ago and we both have taken meticulous care of it. It has always been garaged and I have a stack of full maintenance records going back to new. The mileage is fairly low because it has been a third car for me, as it was for the original owner. It is getting harder to find clean examples of 4th gen 4Runners with no rust, 4WD, and lower mileage. This car has been in NC its whole life, so it is rust-free. It has never been smoked in and has never been in a wreck. Since I have owned it, I have done some light modifications and performed any required maintenance as it has come up. I have put about $9k of parts and maintenance into it since I have owned it, and I have all receipts if you’re interested. I have the title in hand.
Modifcations and upgrades:
Dobinsons 2” full lift kit including front/rear shocks and springs with drivers side lean spacer
Fifteen52 Turbomac HD 17x8.5” bronze wheels with matching valve stems and lugs
Kumho Road Venture AT51 265/65 R17 tires (I kept the tire size stock for best road comfort/handling)
Sony XAV-AX100 Stereo with AppleCarplay/Android Auto
Rockford Fosgate speakers (6 new including tweeters)
Weather Tech digital floor mats and Husky cargo liner
Here is all recent noteworthy maintenance, not including typical wear items like air filters, wipers, etc. All maintenance done by Toyota dealership with OEM parts/fluids.
Oil changed every 5k miles with fully synthetic
110k miles: Replaced both front CV axles
101k miles: Replaced spark plugs
101k miles: Lift installation and alignment
100k miles: Brand new OEM headlights and bulbs
100k miles: Brand new OEM black painted grill (stock SR5 grill was chrome)
96k miles: Replaced both front full brake assemblies including calipers, pads, rotors. Brake fluid flush.
93k miles: Replaced radiator hoses, anti-freeze, thermostat
92k miles: Replaced starter, flushed transmission fluid
92k miles: Replace entire dash under warranty/service bulletin due to cracking
83k miles: Replaced rear brakes, cleaned injectors
