FS: Toyota Accessories Remote Start System in SoCal
Does this have to be programmed by the dealer?

I just installed a Viper alarm on my 4Runner so I no longer need the Toyota Accessories Remote Start System. This is for a 5th gen 4Runner, I am not sure if it will fit any other generation. I bought it originally from the dealer and paid them to install it. It was just removed by the Viper installer. It is intact/all the pieces are there. I'm asking $150 shipped to the lower 48.
Here is a picture of the system post removal:

I don't think so, but I can't say for sure. I had mine installed by the dealer, but I don't think that is required.

From a Google search, it doesn't look like you need the dealer. In fact people are adamant that you shouldn't waste your money paying the dealer to do it.

I am assuming this just works with your preexisting key? If so, I am very interested.

That is correct, it works with the regular key. Once installed, you would press the lock key, press the lock key, then press and hold the lock key. It will beep then start the engine.
