Some rock crawling pic.s from this weekend

Big Bear on Sat 10th Dec.

Only some superfical damage to my truck. Front skid pan is toast, fuel tank protection pan took some beating, sliders got a few scratches and chassis rails worked well fro sliding across rocks. Most of the pic.s are Lance (Goodtimes). Enjoy.

Here's my truck quietly awaiting its turn on Gold Mountain

Worth mentioning that none of the photos here are poser shots. This was action as it happened. Rocks being climbed, were climbed up and over.

More pics later. Unfortunately I don't have photo of my own truck. I know someone has a shot of me hung up from the chassis rail with the rear wheel stuffed into the wheel well on one side and another wheel two feet in the air. Wish they would post it!

Gold Mountain was the first four photos.

The rest of the photos (Lances climb) was the rock garden a few miles into the John Bull trail. I've got to learn to post video. You'd cringe at the grinding noises!

Some Jeep Rubicons came thru after us. The open diffs had trouble too, getting the right line. The locked ones - it was cake. Especially after seeing the right lines and moving the boulders a bit.

And that's what I have Save $ and use the $ elsewhere! It's just an exhaust that lets out poop anyway

btw mark, it was fun runnin up there with ya. even though you didn't finish thru the rest I think you could have done it w/ some significant guidance. hopefully you'll be able to do the snow run i plan to setup when it's more white up there (all fireroads only though). will be fun! that way you can bring your kids too!

Yeah I think I could have gotten thru with your help but I was also worried about holding up the group anymore as I had done so at that stage already. It was great to see your driving skills getting thru there. I want more protection under my truck!
