Source for Fuel Injectors as of 2020?

Alright guys, what's our go to source of fuel injectors these days? Generally I go for OEM Japanese parts, but these things are a bit pricey when you want to do all 6 at once...

Is MotorWest Performance still good? I read a little about them but the posts were old.

Lastly, for those who are asking why, I have to do my valve cover seals soon and also have a mysterious "kick" or perhaps a misfire that I've been tracking. Anyway, I figure replacing 20 year old injectors might help, and I will already practically be there.

I used LCE performance when I did my injectors because they had the OEM rebuilt ones in stock. 5VZ (V6) Equalized Fuel Injector Set (99-04) $300 plus core charge
Motorwest performance doesn't have the OEM rebuilds (brown injector) in stock and instead direct you to purchase these: Denso Fuel Injector Upgrade Set for 3.4L V6 4Runner Tacoma and Tundra – HP831 – MotorWest Performance $220 no core
If I were to do it again I would try Motorwest injectors

I had motor west clean and tune my grey ones. Working great for almost a year now.
If done again I’d do the upgrades they offer.

I cleaned and rebuilt mine myself. Two or three were partially blocked. The how too is in my build and repair thread.

All you need is a few 9v batteries and some ingenuity. And the rebuild kit......

How long have you used the LCE ones?

It would be most cost-effective to have your current ones rebuild and flow tested. Dr. Injector, Motorwest, Witchhunter are just a few that offer quality services. Last I had a set done it was $20 per injector, probably a little more now.

Off the top of my head, I installed them a year ago while chasing a misfire with no codes set. Injectors weren't my issue, but these have performed as advertised without any issues.

Hey thanks for the information guys. Sounds like I'm going to get some from LCE and then have my old ones rebuilt to keep on standby.

Can't really have the truck down for long so I can't take my out to send off without replacing them haha

I'm running the Motor West upgrades. I'm only 1 month in on them but everything is good so far.

I just completed your exact project using Motorwest replacement injectors and it was seamless. No issues, and truck has been running very smooth since. Took the opportunity to replace Valve cover gaskets and refresh the covers with a nice paint job at the same time.
Kept my injectors and intend to have them refurbished for future need as I have 2 2000 4runners.

It’s part of the rebuild kit that all those places use. It’s simple to do yourself and very easy.

I reverse flushed my injectors with carb and choke cleaner until I had an even spray pattern. Than replaced the inlet filters and forward flushed then again. All had an even and identical spray pattern.

Well, I may do that with my originals but I need to be able to get the truck back in action quickly. I figure having a spare set won't hurt anyway...

Only thing that stinks is that Motorwest is out of stock...

I did this as well. If you do rebuild your originals here are a few notes that will help you: make sure you get a kit with the longer style filters as those tend to fit a bit better/more OEM. I had to trim all the excess plastic off the tips with an exacto knife. For flushing them I used carb cleaner with a small piece of hose that fit on the injector and used heat shrink tubes on the little red straw until it fit perfect into the hose. Hook up some wires to a 9v battery and pulse the injector while spray carb cleaner. I needed to use hose clamps to keep the hose from popping off the injector.
