Space in front of cupholders

Revival! I'd like to find a switch setup that could go there. If I had a money tree I'd mount SPOD'S panel there along with a dual battery monitor. There must be someone else out there with the need for more switches! All my factory spots are already used!

I was considering mounting my new CB radio there.
I was going to mount it horizontally, with the speaker (on the bottom of the unit) facing out into the cab.
I just replaced my head unit and just had it all open,
so I was looking to see how far down I could stick the CB into the space under the drawer, behind the cup holders.
(I'd obviously have to cut out some of the plastic)

I put my CB inside that drawer. But it was far from easy with the big CB I chose because there is not much room in there. And it makes it more difficult to use the cupholders. My build thread has a bit more detail.

I removed mine and installed my sat radio in its spot. Wires run nicely through the pivot holes that were already there. It is also recessed enough that it doesn't interfere with drinks that are in the holder.
