I thought this might be an interesting product for people with swing arm tire carriers.
I noticed that the DMOS tire mount that they sell uses a hitch pin for their locking mechanism instead of GHEY ass straps, so i figured that a hitch lock should technically fit, and it does.
Yeah, i know hitch locks can be easily defeated with leverage, but with the panel connected to the mount, there is no room for leverage, thats the beauty of this. Also, with a hitch lock installed, you cannot remove the tire physically without removing the mount and the lock. They also use a huge captured nut on the panel side that provides additional security and gets rid of any wobbling/wiggles. Mount is solid
Yeah i know my tire cover looks stupid, but I live in the hood so gotta keep the hood rats away.
Anyways, with the mount, you can mount, shovels, maxtrax, rotopax, or whatever you want back there, It is not specific to DMOS products or shovels. It is a universal mount.
